My week has gone from good to bad to absolute shit in perhaps three days.

Last Tuesday I got fired. Sure I had begun to really hate the job, but right now is not the time to be without a job. That, and by the sounds of it they totally bullshitted me out of my job, saying that people did this and that while that certain people weren't even there the day they say they were. You know, crap like that. So....I'm looking, but it's tough.

Went to my first tournament as a 2nd Degree and totally burned out. I got last place in every event. Sure, it was only two, but after the week I had by that point, I was hoping for a little bit of a pick me up.

I would like to consider studying a new style at a new dojo in town. The sensei knows my great uncle, who is also very affluent in the same style. My instructor, however, is not for it. It's very difficult for me emotionally, right now.

Aside from that, my life is good, I guess. I just pray things get better, 'cause I don't know how much more of this I'll be able to stand.


And wouldn't you know it...turns out I can stand a little more than I thought. This past Friday (the 13th) My best buddy Odie (my dog) passed away. It seems like God has picked this time of year to take a lot of things from me....I just pray He doesn't think to take anything else. I don't have much left.
